Alexander Birch Elliott

Baritone Alexander Birch Elliott began the 2022-23 season with an anticipated role and house debut as Enrico in Simon Stone’s production of Lucia di Lammermoor with Los Angeles Opera. He then returned to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and The Metropolitan Opera. This summer, Mr. Elliott was heard as Leandro in Sergei Prokofiev's The Love for Three Oranges with Des Moines Metro Opera. In the 2023-24 season, he returns to Lucia di Lammermoor with New Orleans Opera and Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia with Arizona Opera and Des Moines Metro Opera. He joins Houston Grand Opera as Captain Von Trapp (The Sound of Music) and returns to The Metropolitan Opera as Papageno in The Magic Flute.
